Bully Your Bully

James 4:7 "Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you."

Hebrews 2:14 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same, that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death — that is, the devil.”

Romans 16:20 “And the God of Peace will soon crush Satan under YOUR feet”

It's time to bully your bully! It's time to shame your fear, confront that devil and run at your giant. For far too long, those imposters have occupied too much and too many territories uncontested! Territories in your heart, territories in your mind and territories in the earth that you have a divine right to occupy. Don't let that bully steal your lunch money no more. Stop running away from your giant, it’s time to turn around, face him and say 'NO MORE!' No more giving into intimidation, no more giving into lies, fear and well crafted excuses that keep you out of His blessed estate. It's time to inherit wealth, healing and heaven on earth! It's time for a divine confrontation and the taking back of what the devil stole. It's time to intimidate those things that have been intimidating you.

But how you may ask...by identifying who and what your opponent really is and giving it a new name. A name more befitting of the truth, a name like defeated foe or overcome obstacle, erased problem, no longer a threat, easy kill, already dealt with, my meat and my bread. Belittle that bully in your heart and mind. Take that incorrect line of thinking and make it your captive. Like David, who never saw nor dealt with Goliath as a giant. In fact he never once referred to him as a giant, no not one time. But what he did do is give Goliath a new name more befitting with who he really was; he called him “Uncircumcised Philistine,” as in a mere mortal outside of covenant with the Most High God. Why, because that is what Goliath actually was in David’s heart. He looked beyond Goliath’s outward appearance and what his own physical senses were communicating and agreed with his spiritual vision. Belittling his opponent even in his own demeanor and appearance, David, an adolescent teenage shepherd boy shows up to battle with nothing more than a devise most kids use to kill bugs in the backyard. With neither sword nor spear, javelin nor armor, David spoke in faith “TODAY the Lord will deliver you into my hands, I will strike you down, cut off your head and feed it to the birds” In other words, this so called giant, registered more like bird-food than giant to David. He called Goliath’s appearance-bluff, ran at the imposter and killed him with a single throw of a stone. You tell me who the giant really was?

Consider Caleb, who in the face of his fellow brethren cowering in fear, renamed their giants...”our bread” or how about Jesus belittling the giants of his day every time he cast the devil out with a single word...or when He enlisted seventy brand new disciples saying “behold I give you authority to TRAMPLE on ALL THE POWER of the DEVIL.”

If you’re the one stomping on the head of your oppressors doesn’t that make you the giant? Too many of us give satan far too much credit, he's just looming way too large in our hearts and minds, giving him power to influence our thoughts and actions in ways he never could nor should. We defeat him by exposing the lie. We do this by pushing back the veil and revealing the truth as it already now exists in the realm of the spirit. It’s the Truth that sets us free and the truth is...YOU’RE THE GIANT NOW and the opposition is no giant at all, it's only a giant because we call it that in our mind. If that’s the case, then it’s time for a name change. Call it what it is from Heaven’s perspective, call it what it is in the spirit. And in the spirit, that foe is already defeated and under your feet, the devil knows it, but do you?

We still are too caught up in the things we naturally see and thereby swayed too often from our position of faith in the way things truly are and not as they appear to be. As your mind comes into alignment with the truth, you will overcome. I’ve seen demons tremble before those who carry this revelation in their hearts. I’ve seen the demonized delivered with a single word when one walks in their divine identity in Christ. You never have to be afraid of the devil, truth is he’s afraid of us.

One day we will all see the devil for what he truly is, defeated, small and no match for the Kingdom of God within us. The scripture declares that one day we will all gaze on Lucifer and say...”is this the man who made the earth to tremble?” - that day occurs when you come to a renewed state of mind regarding who the devil is and how he was defeated. When you read this verse, you can almost hear the undertone of surprise. Is this it, is this the so called “big bad devil” everyone is so afraid of? Why he’s so small and insignificant...why wait for some day in the future, see him for what he is right now.

To think that Christ and the devil (which simply means false accuser) are on equal plains is one extremely twisted demonic doctrine. That’s like calling a mouse an opponent to a lion or a worm to an eagle. Christ has been given a name that’s above every other name and you’ve been seated with Him FAR ABOVE every principality and power and every name that is named (the devil is a name)! It’s time to change the way we think, it’s time to shake those old wives tales and wrong mentalities out of our hearts and minds. It’s time to stand up to your bully, whatever it is...be it cancer, fear, addiction, depression, hurt or offense and say to that so called giant, “get off my land and never return.” It’s time to bully your bully.

I don't care how scary it looks, do it anyway. I don't care if it seems impossible, God is with you, in you and He is well able. All you need to do is take a good long look in the mirror of the spirit and you will see the true reality...that God lives within us and you're the Giant now!!! Lions never hide and only Lions roar, stop hiding and start roaring!!!!!
